I think PaaS vs SaaS is more about how you use ServiceNow; we have always treated it as a platform. Has anybody said that a PaaS instance is somehow different from a SaaS instance?So is it that there is no differenciation between Paas and Saas, in terms of features, billing/pricing, funtionality from ServiceNow side?As far as I know, there is just the one product. It has both PaaS and SaaS features.

We chose to extend the Application Softwares (cmdb_ci_application_software) class as there are specific attributes that we want to track just for SAAS/PAAS/Hosted/Cloud-based applications.
